This game (i call everything a game) was made in the week of Jan22 to 28 of 2024. It's the first time i make a game and barely draw for it, which is kind of a shame and also a welcomed relief.
I also coded it from scratch! :D yes, it IS a pair of very simple layouts, but I haven't done this properly in ages so. hell yea.

CHARACTERS
If you've been paying attention to the website this is hosted on, you'll notice the characters I used here are mentioned in almost every damn page of it. Here's character descriptions for both of them (NewsMan and ScreenWriter), because I don't think I ever clarified shit about what's going on in the whole website.
NewsMan: male, 23ish years old. Local newsman of Town. He's a prolific artist, dramatic as hell, and doesn't capitalize words correctly. The website's themed around his house, his hobbies and workplace, and often you'll find tidbits of his interactions with his coworker (and, most likely, friend), the ScreenWriter.
ScreenWriter: female, around 28 years old. Has a ton of cats (unspecified amount), capitalizes every word and is rather blunt. Supposedly, there are no images of her on the website, but she is pictured speaking or writing often. She's rather awkward around personal issues or dramatism, and doesn't know how to differentiate between acquaintances and close friends. That's fine though, no one minds.
ROUTE SUMMARIES (MILD SPOILERS)
Route 1: THE WALKING CORPSE
Metamorphosis, transitions and the passing of time. Science fiction oriented. A bit existentialist.
Route 2: THE MISSING CORPSE
Death and remorse. Fictional, no fantastical elements but some absurd ones.
CANON ROUTE
Neither of them is canon. I did try to choose one to be canon to the site's lore, but I think I am leaving that for later on. Hell, maybe they're BOTH canon. that'd be fun to mess with.
